Atlas Shrugged, the novel by Ayn Rand was published in 1957. September 2 is the day that Atlas Shrugged begins. The date recurs several times throughout the book.

Terror Group Goes Wild in US Embassy Pool in Tripoli

The Islamist terror group known as Dawn of Libya seized control of Tripoli last week. They stormed the embassy the day after taking the capital and transformed the US Embassy into a Mideast version of "Animal House".
