Erdogan of Turkey and the Politics of Deception

Turkey, the loyal NATO member and future non Christian star of the European Union, is slowly but surely moving towards a totalitarian, theocratic state under Islam. And it is happening largely under the radar.

Anthology of contradiction: Erdogan has made hundreds of hypocritical speeches in over 40 years in politics and is still producing them.

Historically Turkey has been a valued member of NATO as a bridge between Europe and Asia. The country had an important role during the Cold War as a buffer against Communism. To the ideologues in the EU, membership of Turkey would prove their imperial project is not a 'Christian club', but a multicultural empire in which not just everyone, but also every religion and every culture, is fully equal... except Western culture and Christianity, that are uniquely evil and must be destroyed - for its own good, of course. Turkey would grow the EU by 81,6 million Europeans (source) which is slightly more than the largest EU country, Germany (source) that has a population of just 80,6 million. The power of Turkey would be such, that memberhip would change the overall character of the Union. Which is no problem, given that every country is equal.

The Flipside Goes Anti-Jihad With Bosch Fawstin

The Flipside with Michael Loftus offers a fresh perspective by taking on the flipside of the news, commentary, and pop-culture. The show has a distinct conservative/libertarian angle. His excellent rant on Global Warming from the second episode immediately went viral, including The Blaze and Fox News.

Oct 13, 2014  This episode of The Flipside features special guest cartoonist Bosch Fawstin.

The Flipside goes anti-Jihad with the guest Bosch Fawstin - author of Pigman - as well as with Michael's excellent rant about O.J. Simpson's conversion to Islam, and some jokes by one of our all time favorite blogs, The People's Cube which is part of the Flipside team.

Cheney: 9/11 Will Look Like a Walk in the Park

Former Vice President Dick Cheney opened up for a nearly two hour interview with Bill Kristol, as part of the latest installment of Conversations With Bill Kristol. He says 9/11 will turn out to be not nearly as bad as the next mass casualty attack against the United States.

Oct 12, 2014 Dick Cheney and Bill Kristol discuss Cheney's time as secretary of defense, the Gulf War, the Nixon and Ford Years, the Reagan years, 9/11, and the threats we face today.

Chapter 1 (00:15 - 10:37): Secretary of Defense Cheney
Chapter 2 (10:37 - 35:14): The Gulf War\
Chapter 3 (35:14 - 53:23): From Nixon to Ford
Chapter 4 (53:23 - 1:10:09): President Gerald Ford
Chapter 5 (1:10:09 - 1:23:48): The Reagan Years
Chapter 6 (1:23:48 - 1:39:33): Dick Cheney on 9/11
Chapter 7 (1:39:33 - 1:51:39): Threats We Face

On the last point, Cheney surveyed the world -- particulary the Middle East -- and expressed concern about Iran getting nuclear weapons. If that happens, Cheney predicted, many other countries in the region would quickly acquire nuclear weapons, too. "So we're in a very dangerous period and I think it's more threatening than the period before 9/11," Cheney predicted. "I think 9/11 will turn out to be not nearly as bad as the next mass casualty attack against the United States--which, if and when it comes, will be with something far deadlier than [with] airline tickets and box cutters."

Escape From Boko Haram: Remember #BringBackOurGirls ?

Back in May celebrities and polititicians launched a hashtag campaign to Bring Back Our Girls. Even the UN and the Security Council, all people with real power, jumped on the soap box. The exercise in Narcissism obscured the fact that this heinous crime had anything to do with Islam. The fact was simply ignored.

In Nigeria some 300 girls have been kidnapped from their dormitory by members of the Islamic Jihadist group, Boko Haram (translation: Western Education is a Sin).  A few escaped Chibok Girls Share Their Experience.

UPDATE: Remember the Chibok girls? Well, there's news!

Who's More Evil? Islamic State or Islamic Republic?

Who poses the bigger threat?  Islamic State or the Islamic Republic of Iran? It's actually a false dilemma. Both the Sunni and Shia side are equally hostile to Western values and to Liberty at large. But some are working hard to get the West into the Sunni camp.

Islamic State vs. Iran: Which Threat Is Bigger?

UPDATE: Speaking at the U.N. General Assembly, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made the point that if Iran is armed with a nuclear bomb, it would pose the "gravest threat to us all".  He added that defeating the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria and leaving the Islamic Republic on the side is akin to “winning the battle and losing the war.” (Source) Both sides, battling it out in Iraq and Syria for Shia or Sunni hegemony in the Middle East, are in fact equally evil and hostile to Liberty.

From the Mouth of Babes: "Islamic State is Right"

Those who deny that Islam has anything to do with Islamic State are clutching at straws. If you labor under the fact-free notion that "Islam is a religion of peace", or "that no religion condones terrorism", or "Islam has been hijacked by a few radicals", the following may come as a bit of a shock.

ISIS Hostage speaks out and stuns everyone in the room.

Students of Islam have been saying this all along. Islamic State is vintage Islam and is by definition harking back to its roots and the example of Mohammed. Now we hear it from an unbiased boy and everyone is shocked, shocked! But not to fret: the excuses are already piled up high. This boy has been 'brainwashed'. And here we have another piece of prime bullshit! IS is chopping off heads for... (sit down for this one)... propaganda purposes!  (Source) None are so blind as those that will not see. Postmodernist Naomi Klein is going where we might expect her: she's denying the beheading of hostages is happening at all! Muslims wouldn't do that! They're forgeries. LOL The whole thing is food for psychopathologists.

Pat Condell: Laughing at the New Inquisition

"Anything but the truth" could be a 'progressive' motto. In this video, "The truth is incorrect" Pat Condell tries to explain the difference between a 'progressive' and a genuine liberal.

Sep 23, 2014 The stench of hypocrisy from the 'progressive' high moral ground.

UPDATE: To normal people the logic of  the Left is beyond comprehension. Pat brings it up in his video. Every culture is equal; except the West, which is uniquely evil. That explains the inexplicable:

Open Letter by Prominent Muslims to the Caliph Debunked

The Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Fiqh Council of North America wrote an open letter signed by over a 100 prominent Muslims, addressed to the Islamic State’s Caliph Ibrahim, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, explaining how the PhD holder in Islamic Studies is misunderstanding Islam. Today, Robert Spencer, director of Jihad Watch debunks the document.

Michael Coren and Robert Spencer discuss the claims that the Islamic State has nothing to do with Islam.

Hamas-linked CAIR and the Fiqh Council and all the signers of this Open Letter really do oppose the Islamic State. But they don’t oppose it because it is transgressing against the commands of what they believe to be a Religion of Peace. They oppose it because they want to establish a caliphate under the auspices of or led by the Muslim Brotherhood, and the Islamic State constitutes competition. This is clear from their sly endorsements in this document of jihad, the Sharia, and the concept of the caliphate. It begins with an “Executive Summary” which is then filled out in greater detail. I will intersperse commentary below, first in general terms on the Executive Summary, and then taking up the arguments on each point in detail.

Retired Generals: Obama's War Plan Like Vietnam

ISIS has joint its conquered territories in Syria and Iraq together (maps) in a new Caliphate simply named the Islamic State, or IS. IS is demanding that all Sunnis pledge allegiance to the Caliph, al Baghdadi. After the genocides on Christians and Yazidi Kurds, and three hostages were publicly beheaded, the world is ready to strike back at Mordor.

Aug, 29, 2014: IS lessons for making bubonic plague bombs and weapons of mass destruction, by @JenanMoussa and @HaraldDoornbos. Read English, Dutch. UPDATE: Part II: ISIS LAPTOP OF DOOM - HOW TO MAKE RICIN, SEMTEX, BANANA MOUSSE (SOURCE)

UPDATE: There's better news from Syrian Kurdistan. Obama's top brass have shredded his war plan against the Islamic State; Obama is about to tell the UN he wants a global travel ban for Jihadists, assuring radicals will turn against their home countries; Islamic State has got Lebanon and Egypt in the crosshairs. And cries about dying babies has already started. Let's hope people are able to withstand sentimental anti war propaganda that hands a moral victory to the enemy - the Islamic State - as if that was possible in a rational world!

Postmortem on Operation Protective Edge in Gaza

Three Israeli teens were abducted and killed by Palestinians. After some 95 rockets were fired from Gaza into Israel, the Government of Bibi Netanyahu launched Operation Protective Edge. Peace negotiations have started, but it's impossible for the Palestinians to ever stop hostilities: the destruction of Israel  is their psychological reason of being.

Aug 11, 2014 At United West, Geert Wilders, unlike many spineless politicians, stands proudly with Israel and boldly against Hamas and Islamic jihad worldwide.

UPDATE: While the world's media has been blaming Israel for the death of Gazan civilians during Operation Protective Edge, this correspondent decided to speak with Gazans themselves to hear what they had to say. They spoke of Hamas atrocities and war crimes implicating Hamas in the civilian deaths of its own people. Although Gazans, fearful of Hamas's revenge against them, were afraid to speak to the media, friends in the West Bank offered introductions to relatives in Gaza. One, a renowned Gazan academic, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said that as soon as someone talked to a Western journalist, he was immediately questioned by Hamas and accused of "communicating with the Mossad". "Hamas makes sure that the average Gazan will not talk to Western journalists -- or actually any journalists at all," he said (...) (Source)
