UPDATE: It is intriguing that mainstream media has focused on violent terrorist acts of the Islamic State (IS or ISIS), a radical Sunni Islamist group, while they are deliberately avoiding raising awareness about other Islamist terrorist groups that are as brutal as ISIS, if not worse.
The other groups that I am referring to are primarily the Iranian-backed radical Islamist militias.
Brutal terrorist groups such as Kataib al-Imam Ali (KIA) are not any less violent than ISIS when it comes to the aggressive and horrific tactics they use against civilians. (...) After rolling out the red carpet for potentially millions of migrants – most of whom are not Syrian – to enter Europe in search of welfare havens like Sweden and Germany – the EU has proven its total incompetence when it comes to dealing with border security.
However, instead of handing more power to national governments to address the crisis, the EU is set to eviscerate the sovereignty of member states further under a new proposal which would permit the deployment of up to 2,500 armed guards wearing EU uniforms, along with naval patrol vessels, helicopters and drones.
“The EU’s first paramilitary force would have the power to take control of a nation’s borders without the consent of sovereign governments,” reports the Times. According to Dimitris Avramopoulos, European Commissioner for migration, the idea represents “more Europe”.
The new agency would, “be able to step in to ensure action is taken on the ground even where … that member state considers there is no need for additional intervention,” according to a draft proposal.
Polish Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski slammed the idea, labeling it “incompatible with democracy”.
“For it to be a structure independent from nation states is astounding … an undemocratic structure reporting to no one knows who,” said Waszczykowski.
“Every single time a European Union policy fails….the demand is more centralization and more Europe, said UKIP leader Nigel Farage in response to the plan. Diane James, MEP and UKIP Justice and Home Affairs spokesperson commented, “This is a full frontal attack on national sovereignty from the EU.
All pretence has now been discarded and the Commission will now openly act against a member state’s wishes and operate within its borders without permission. By acting contrary to the wishes of national parliaments the EU has displayed its desire for a federal state for all to see.”
The International Business Times reports that the plan “could lead to armed EU guards effectively “occupying” parts of member states’ territory” and the EU having a “right to intervene” even when a nation state explicitly tells it not to.
The new border force will be based in Warsaw, Poland and EU member states will have to contribute to the €322 million a year needed to fund it.
The new force will also, “be able to carry out surveillance operations alongside the European Fisheries Control Agency and European Maritime Safety Agency and can even be deployed to countries outside the EU.”
As Leo McKinstry highlights, the new proposal is in line with a quote that is seen at the entrance to the Visitors’ Centre of the European Parliament which reads, “National sovereignty is the root cause of the most crying evils of our times,” leading “to tragic disaster and barbarism.”

UPDATE: The French President François Hollande said quite correctly that the attacks in Paris were an act of war by the Islamic State. IS has vowed to launch further attacks on Europe. Therefore the continent must prepare for war and do everything in its power to destroy the Caliphate in Iraq and Syria. Containment and humiliation are not enough. But even if IS is destroyed, Islamic extremism will not. The destruction of IS will even inflame the religious rage for those who long for the Caliphate. European leaders must take a number of important decisions. To prevent more attacks on an even larger scale, the mindset needs to change. ISIS has sent letters to Swedish civilians ordering them to convert to Islam within three days or face being decapitated in their own homes. Sharia law is affording infidels 'of the book' (Jews and Christians) the choice to convert to Islam, pay the jizya protection tax, or die.
The letter, posted on Facebook, features the flag of ISIS.
Bloodthirsty IS Jihadists posted notes through the doors of dozens of random neighbours in several cities across Sweden, including the capital Stockholm, threatening to murder "non-believers" in a terrifying campaign of violence.
Sweden is now on lockdown after the chilling letters pledged to behead innocent civilians and then "bomb your rotting corpses afterwards". Intelligence officials confirmed they are investigating the horrifying threats - which were signed by "ISIS" - as a state of fear gripped the nation.
The notes, written in Swedish, order people to convert to Islam or pay a religious tax, known as the jizya, warning that the police "will not save you from being murdered".
Postmodern, liberal apologists of Islam in the name of democracy, equality and the freedom of religion only serve radicals. Carl Icahn's video. "Danger Ahead", explains that the present economy is not based on objective value: it's a phantom economy.
He started by explaining why Donald Trump had become so popular in the presidential polls. It boils down to a frustrated American public, angered by how little reform has been passed to stimulate growth. Two key issues Icahn argues must be addressed are the carried-interest tax loophole for investors and the exorbitant repatriation tax that discourages multinational companies from bringing their profits back to the US. For the financial markets and the economy, Icahn says the core problem is the Federal Reserve and its ultra-easy, zero-interest-rate policy.
Police say a woman harassed and insulted a group of Muslims praying at a California park Sunday, before throwing a coffee at one man who was recording the incident with his cell phone, reports CBS San Francisco.

Denise Slader, who police say insulted a group of Muslim men praying in a California park on Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015, when she allegedly also threw coffee and used an umbrella to strike one of them.
The group said they gather weekly for volleyball and prayer at Lake Chabot Regional Park, near San Francisco. On Sunday, a woman, identified as Denise Slader, encountered the men around 3 p.m. and began insulting the Islamic faith and accusing the group of being terrorists. Slader is an employee of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, according to parks spokesperson Carolyn Jones.
