Retired Brigadier General Tony Tata appeared on Fox News with host former Governor Mike Huckabee this evening and revealed that his well-placed sources told him someone from the Office of National Intelligence who meets regularly with the president commanded a senior official in CENTCOM to quit producing products of record that showed negative intelligence that didn’t fit the narrative of the Obama administration. The U.S. Central Command, CENTCOM, got caught by a House committee lying about the rise of ISIS and painting a much better picture than the reality on the ground in Iraq and Syria. Professional analysts who developed the reports actually told the truth. When the reports were passed up the line to the political appointees – whose loyalties apparently lie with Barack Obama not the United States of America – those reports were “manipulated” to give the impression that ISIS probably was the “JV team.” Those final reports were absolute lies. The Defense Department’s Inspector General is reviewing the findings. The report to the House committee is the result of a whistleblower who got fed up with watching his reports changed. The IG is reportedly looking for more whistleblowers. Barack Obama’s Pentagon has declined comment because the investigation is “ongoing.” Actually, they’ve declined comment because it makes their boss look like the lying piece of crap he really is. A CENTCOM spokesman Lt. Cmdr. Patrick Evans said, “Experts sometimes disagree on the interpretation of complex data, and the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense welcome healthy dialogue on these vital national security topics.” In other words, “Huh?” The White House is insisting that no one in the administration “pressured anyone” and is blaming … the military of course.

Last Friday Morell published an NYT Op-Ed titled "I Ran the C.I.A. Now I'm Endorsing Hillary Clinton" in which he not only praised Hillary but slammed Donald Trump (...) What Morell, who sought to portray himself as bipartisan, did not say, is that he was an active participant in painting the Benghazi attacks as caused by YouTube video. (...)
What he also forgot to mention is that in 2013, he left the CIA to join a DC consultancy group with strong links to Hillary Clinton. Beacon Global Strategies, Morell's employer, is a ten-person firm whose co-founders include Philippe Reines, a senior counselor to Hillary Clinton when she ran the State Department. Reines is still her spokesman (...) will also likely be part of the Clinton spin machine. But what he most certainly did not mention is that when it comes to the pinnacle of neocons (for Hillary), none matches Mr. Morell. (More)

Claire Lopez spent 20 years as an undercover operations officer for the CIA. According to Lopez the Obama regime "changed sides" in the war on terror at about the time the CIA annex in Benghazi was overrun on 11 September 2011 (or even earlier). (Source) By "flipping sides" she means the Obama regime embracing the bi-polar world view as espoused by the Russians, the withdrawal of the US from the world stage as a super power and the dismantling of the armed forces as the protector of Liberty. It was a conscious decision by Obama, who was bred on the Marxist diet of anti American 'anti colonialism'.
Unlike his predecessor George Bush, Obama does not believe in the liberation of nations, even by military force if necessary. Not liberty, but democracy is Obama's moral standard. But as Lopez is pointing out, the advance of democracy in nations where a large proportion of the population believes in Sharia Law -- known as Arab Spring -- meant the advancement of the powers of political Islam.
This is what the postmodern critics of the Bush war in Iraq meant when they were calling for a non Western-centric form of democracy: it's Islamic tyranny by popular proclamation. This is evidently not the Western approach to democracy, a concept which is inextricably linked to Liberty, individual rights, limited Government, the rule of law and civil society.
This flipping of the Obama regime explains the moral agnosticism in the face of the atrocities committed by ISIS. And it explains the now obsolete plans to carve up Syria (and Iraq) in sectarian pieces with room for the Kurds as well as the Caliphate. If morality is (group) subjective and all cultures are equal why not reach such a "political settlement"? Why not, indeed. Whatever could go wrong?
The Russian propaganda is difficult to reconcile with recent news on the training of the so called "moderate Syrian opposition". "You Can Literally Count the Number of U.S.-Trained Syrians Fighting ISIS on One Hand -- Lawmakers slammed the U.S. plan to defeat the Islamic State group in a heated Capitol Hill hearing.
