LEAKED DOC SHOWS US-PALESTINIAN COLLUSION

As a Hanukkah present to Israel, the outgoing Obama regime connived with Muslim UN member states (what else is new?) to screw over the Jewish people. An intervention by President Elect Trump delayed the vote in the UNSC by 24 hours. A day later Israel was stabbed in the back, overturning nearly 50 years of American bipartisan politics on the Arab-Israeli question.

UPDATE:  If authentic, the document leaked to an Egyptian website confirms some of the claims voiced in Israel against Obama since the UN vote against the settlements last week. Britain pulled the strings. (Source) The document shows Secretary of State John Kerry advised Egyptian and Palestinian diplomats on how to write a resolution condemning Israeli settlement construction that would avoid an American veto, but he did not "orchestrate" the international rebuke, according to State Department spokesman Mark Toner. (Source) According to Democrat strategist Mark Mellman ‏@MarkMellman the meeting never took place and the document is a "complete fabrication". But Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat confirms the meeting took place in Washington, but says the leaked minutes are lies and half-truths.” US officials from the State Department and National Security denied the meeting took place at all. (Source)

In the eagerly awaited Kerry speech today, he will outline what he thinks the peace framework should include, pushing back on Netanyahu's claims the US crafted and pushed UN resolution. In an act of final betrayal Kerry will call for Israel’s return to pre-1967 borders. (More)

OBAMA SET TO DELIVER FINAL COUP ON ISRAEL

Obama may have more tricks up his sleeve, 5 more to be precise, and he's planning the final coup. The masque Obama was able to uphold for almost 8 years for all but the most astute observers, is finally dropping less than a month before Trump's inauguration. On Wednesday Jan. 15 a Mideast conference will be held in France wheredozens of countries may endorse an international framework for peace between Israel and the Palestinians. The Palestinian President said Tuesday that he hopes the conference will set a timetable to end settlements. Mahmoud Abbas’ comments early Tuesday morning were his first public remarks since the Obama guided UN resolution that Jews can’t pray at the Western Wall or live in the Jewish Quarter where they’ve lived for 1000's of years. David Keyes, spokesman for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, doubled-down on the claim of an ambush set by Obama, telling CNN’s Dana Bash on Sunday:
“We have ironclad information, frankly, that the Obama administration really helped push this resolution and helped craft it, from sources internationally and sources in the Arab world.” “It’s really an unfortunately legacy, kind of a last minute jab at Israel that actually distances peace.”
The information will be presented to theTrump administration who can then decide whether to release it or not. In an excellent article on CNN Dr. Mark Goldfeder explains the history and the legalities of the dispute in a few simple words.
"Israel was given land under a Mandate that was never repealed, two other countries attacked Israel and squatted on the land for a while, and then, when they attacked Israel again and lost, Israel regained the land she had originally been given. Israel has exclusive title and sovereignty; from an international law perspective this is not an occupation."

Apart from the hypocrisy, the president's decision was also wrong, as a matter of law. Some brief history is in order.
In 1922 the League of Nations Mandate for Palestine established an area (which included the West Bank) to be a national home for the Jewish people. Article 6 of the mandate explicitly encouraged "close settlement by Jews on the land." ("The Administration of Palestine, while ensuring that the rights and position of other sections of the population are not prejudiced, shall facilitate Jewish immigration under suitable conditions and shall encourage, in co-operation with the Jewish agency referred to in Article 4, close settlement by Jews on the land, including State lands and waste lands not required for public purposes.") When the United Nations was formed it affirmed existing arrangements of this nature, and after Britain announced that it would leave the area, the United Nations proposed a partition plan that was not accepted by the relevant sovereign parties, (because the Arab world rejected it) leaving the Mandate lines unrevised. Nothing confirmed yet, but the ambush may include...

NETANYAHU: OBAMA HAS MORE TRICKS UP HIS SLEEVE

Dec 23, 2016 FoxNews/Hannity: John Bolton discusses the impact of the UNSC vote.

Netanyahu has warned Likud ministers after the vote in the UN Security Council that more may be coming and that Obama may act again before he leaves office. “We have no doubt that the Obama Administration initiated it, stood behind it, coordinated the texts, and made sure it passed,” Netanyahu said. "The issue is still hot and this is not the end of it." (More) Ambassador John Bolton said of the Obama backstabbing of Israel:
“I think certainly the sponsors of the resolution, the Egyptians, some of the others, some of the five permanent members of the council, including Great Britain, obviously had to consult with the Obama administration to tell them what was in the resolution so that it was sufficient for Obama to order an abstention. The United States could have killed this resolution by voting no, it did vote no on a very similar resolution in 2011, but this was and you said it exactly right at the top of the show, this was a stab in the back against the Israelis. It was entirely predictable. You should have seen this coming and this is what you get for supporting Barack Obama.”
He also believes it goes beyond the personal dislike for Netanyahu, that it’s an attempt by Obama to box in the incoming Trump administration. The resolution basically says that Israel has no land to the trade for peace, making negotiations even harder. Master negotiator Donald Trump is still optimistic the intractable question will now be resolved. That is the last thing Muslims from all sides want. On the contrary: they do anything to keep the appearance of a legitimate grievance alive. If necessary at the expense of their own people.

TRUMP REACTS TO OBAMA BETRAYAL OF ISRAEL

US ABSTAINS FROM UNSC RES. CONDEMNING ISRAEL

UN Security Council voted to end Israel settlement building 14 in favor, 1 abstention by the Obama regime ignoring call by President Elect Trump to use veto.
The United States has given its biggest rebuke in recent history to longstanding ally Israel, allowing the U.N. Security Council to condemn its settlements and continuing construction in Palestinian territory as a ‘flagrant violation’ of international law. Instead of casting a veto to support Israel, as it almost always does on council resolutions on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the U.S. abstained. That gave a green light for the council to approve the resolution by a 14-0 vote with U.S. Ambassador Samantha Power abstaining, a move greeted with loud applause in the packed Security Council chamber. The resolution says Israel’s settlements on Palestinian territory occupied since 1967, including East Jerusalem, have “no legal validity.” It demands a halt to “all Israeli settlement activities,” saying this “is essential for salvaging the two-state solution.” (Source

UNSC VOTING ON ISRAEL SETTLEMENTS ON FRIDAY

The vote has been re-tabled for about 2 hours from now at 2 PM EST. New Zealand, Malaysia, Venezuela and Senegal -- the co-sponsors of the draft resolution -- requested the vote.
The Obama administration secretly worked with the Palestinian Authority to craft a “shameful” United Nations resolution behind Israel’s back, an Israeli official told reporters on Friday. The official told Breitbart Jerusalem by email: “President Obama and Secretary Kerry are behind this shameful move against Israel at the UN. The US administration secretly cooked up with the Palestinians an extreme anti Israeli resolution behind Israel’s back which would be a tailwind for terror and boycotts and effectively make the Western Wall occupied Palestinian territory. (...)
The text of the resolution repeatedly and wrongly refers to the West Bank and eastern sections of Jerusalem as “Palestinian territory occupied since 1967.” In actuality, the Palestinians never had a state in either the West Bank or eastern Jerusalem and they are not legally recognized as the undisputed authority in those areas. Jordan occupied and annexed the West Bank and eastern Jerusalem from 1948 until Israel captured the lands in a defensive war in 1967 after Arab countries used the territories to launch attacks against the Jewish state.
In 1988 Jordan officially renounced its claims to the West Bank and eastern Jerusalem. The text of the resolution declares that the Israeli settlement enterprise has “no legal validity and constitutes a flagrant violation under international law and a major obstacle to the achievement of the two-state solution and a just, lasting and comprehensive peace.” It calls for Israel to “immediately and completely cease all settlement activities in the occupied Palestinian territory, including East Jerusalem.” As the Committee for Accuracy for Middle East Reporting in America (CAMERA) pointed out in an email blast, international law does not make Israeli settlements illegal. TRUMP PREVENTS OBAMA BETRAYING ISRAEL

(AP) An Israeli official is accusing President Barack Obama of a "shameful move against Israel at the U.N." after learning the White House did not intend to veto a Security Council resolution condemning settlement construction in the West Bank and east Jerusalem. The official said the "U.S. Administration secretly cooked up with the Palestinians an extreme anti-Israeli resolution behind Israel's back." He spoke Friday a day after, following heavy Israeli pressure, Egypt indefinitely postponed the U.N. vote. "This is an abandonment of Israel which breaks decades of US policy of protecting Israel at the UN and undermines the prospects of working with the next administration of advancing peace," the official said anonymously in line with protocol. Although the U.S. opposes settlements, it has traditionally used its veto power as a permanent member of the Security Council to block resolutions condemning Israel, saying that disputes between Israel and the Palestinians must be resolved through negotiations.
