OUTRAGE AND CONFUSION IN THE AWAN PLEA DEAL

Looking for leaks? Look no further than three Pakistani brothers Abid, Imran, and Jamal Awan, hired to maintain House computer servers and emails. One of the men had a criminal record. They were each paid over $160,000 salary to work for the Congress and a number of Democrats.The Awan family maintained a crime networ while having unauthorized access to Foreign Intelligence, Foreign Affairs and Intelligence Committee intel. 

UPDATE: Outrage and confusion over the Awan trial in which the Department of Justice agreed not to prosecute Imran Awan for cyber theft and destruction of House IT equipment or improperly handling of Government information. But not everyone agrees that's all there's to it. If  they are right, we haven't even scratched the surface!
An assistant US attorney said Tuesday he would not prosecute Imran Awan, a former systems administrator for Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz and other Democrats, for any crimes on Capitol Hill in a plea agreement that had him plead guilty to one count of bank fraud. (...) The Department of Justice said it found “found no evidence that [Imran] illegally removed House data from the House network or from House Members’ offices, stole the House Democratic Caucus Server, stole or destroyed House information technology equipment, or improperly accessed or transferred government information.” (More)

(THREADS) AWAN CASE: A MASSIVE CONFLICT OF INTEREST


Most people do not realize that in regards to the Imran Awan investigation and charges of bank fraud there is a massive cover up attempt occurring as well as a broad conflict of interest in the case. I imagine many would be shocked to hear that the Assistant Attorney for the District of Columbia Steven Wasserman is actually Debbie Wasserman Shultz’s brother. (More)

But that's not all! Not by a long chalk.
The father of Imran Awan — an IT aide to Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz who investigators concluded made “unauthorized access” to House servers — transferred a USB drive to a Pakistani senator and former head of a Pakistani intelligence agency, the father’s ex-business partner, Rashid Minhas, alleged. Minhas told The Daily Caller News Foundation that Imran Awan’s father, Haji Ashraf Awan, was giving data to Pakistani official Rehman Malik, and that Imran bragged he had the power to “change the U.S. president.” Asked for how he knew this, he said that on one occasion in 2008 when a “USB [was] given to Rehman Malik by Imran’s father, my brother Abdul Razzaq was with his father.” (More)

AWAN CASE: DEMOCRAT LAW SUIT OPENS CAN OF WORMS


The Democrats never know when enough is enough. Suing the Trump campaign, the Russian Government and Wikileaks will open a can of worms that will expose the Awan crime family case and the role of former DNC chairwoman Debbie (😜Wendy - tweet deleted) Wasserman Schultz in it. "Basically everything people have been looking for in the so-called Russia investigation is actually here in the more or less uncovered Imran Awan investigation," political commentator Mark Steyn argued on Fox News' Tucker Carlson Tonight Wednesday evening. He brought up the latest shoe to drop in the growing scandal, which was broken this week by Luke Rosiak in The Daily Caller, as a prime example. (More)

(...) Now-indicted former congressional IT aide Imran Awan allegedly routed data from numerous House Democrats to a secret server. (...) The secret server was connected to the House Democratic Caucus, an organization chaired by then-Rep. Xavier Becerra. Police informed Becerra that the server was the subject of an investigation and requested a copy of it. Authorities considered the false image they received to be interference in a criminal investigation, the senior official said. Data was also backed up to Dropbox in huge quantities, the official said. Congressional offices are prohibited from using Dropbox, so an unofficial account was used, meaning Awan could have still had access to the data even though he was banned from the congressional network.

Awan had access to all emails and office computer files of 45 members of Congress who are listed below. Fear among members that Awan could release embarrassing information if they cooperated with prosecutors could explain why the Democrats have refused to acknowledge the cybersecurity breach publicly or criticize the suspects.

According to the DCNF's source, the Awans’ use of Dropbox went well beyond casual use. They were "funneling of huge quantities of data offsite where it could not be taken back by House authorities." (...) "I think you're going to see some revelations that are going to be pretty profound," said Rep. Trent Franks (R-AZ) to Fox News' Lou Dobbs last week.
"The fact that this wife is coming back from Pakistan and is willing to face charges -- as it were -- I think there's a good chance that she's going to receive some type of immunity to tell a larger story here that's going to be pretty disturbing to the American people". (More)

(VIDEO) DEBBIE WASSERMAN SCHULTZ BLACKMAILED?


A laptop that Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz has frantically fought to keep prosecutors from examining may have been planted for police to find by her since-indicted staffer, Imran Awan, along with a letter to the U.S. Attorney. U.S. Capitol Police found the laptop after midnight April 6, 2017, in a tiny room that formerly served as a phone booth in the Rayburn House Office Building, according to a Capitol Police report reviewed by The Daily Caller News Foundation’s Investigative Group. Alongside the laptop were a Pakistani ID card, copies of Awan’s driver’s license and congressional ID badge, and letters to the U.S. attorney. Police also found notes in a composition notebook marked “attorney-client privilege.” The laptop had the username “RepDWS,” even though the Florida Democrat and former Democratic National Committee chairman previously said it was Awan’s computer and that she had never even seen it.
