(NEW FOOTAGE) REPORTERS RETURN TO BENGHAZI

On September 11, 2012 the CIA annex in Benghazi, Libya was overrun by a mob of 60-80 Jihadists from Al Qaeda related to Ansar Al Sharia. Details on The Benghazi Scandal: A Simple 10 Point Explanation. The Obama administration has been covering it up with an absurd ruse involving a video. 


UPDATE: With the commemorations of 911 under way and Barack Obama lashing out at President Trump calling Benghazi a "wild conspiracy theory", the spotlight has returned on the events of September 11, 2012 in Libya. Obama's bizarre spin caused a reaction in one of its heroes, Kris Paronto. (Article) In the meanwhile the reporters who investigated the Benghazi compound in October 2012 returned to Benghazi. Six years ago Jenan Moussa and Harald Doornbos found documents in the rubble of the US Consulate showing that the staff was worried about their safety prior to the attack. Here's that story in Foreign Policy. Earlier this month Doornbos and Moussa returned to Benghazi where they spent three weeks for further investigation. BENGHAZI TERRORIST AVOIDS DEATH PENALTY IN CRIMINAL COURT


Suspected Benghazi militant Abu Khattala was convicted of just four of the 18 charges against him by a federal jury Tuesday. He is guilty of terrorism, but is avoiding the death penalty. Khattala is the first person charged and prosecuted in the Benghazi attacks. He faces up to 60 years in prison for the following charges. Mr. Khattala was convicted on four counts — including providing material support for terrorism, destroying property and placing lives in jeopardy at the mission, and brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence — but acquitted on 14 others.
