Geert Wilders, the founder and leader of the Party for Freedom, currently the second largest party in the Dutch parliament, gave a speech at the David Horowitz Freedom Center’s the American Freedom Alliance’s annual Heroes of Conscience dinner on Sunday night.
UPDATE: As the Dutch politician spoke to WND before addressing the American Freedom Alliance’s annual Heroes of Conscience dinner here Sunday night, it wasn’t hard to imagine why he has been under constant protection, courtesy of his government, since November 2004, when two North African Muslims were accused of planning to murder him. “Islam is the problem,” said Wilders, the leader of the Party for Freedom, now the country’s second largest in Parliament. “We can only deal with [the threat] if we first face the truth, [which] might not be too politically correct, but still is the truth, and that is that Islam — and not Islamism or radical Islam, but Islam — is an evil ideology like communism or fascism that has no place in a free society,” he told WND. “And at the end of the day it will replace us, and we will lose our freedom,” he said. The West, Wilders emphasized, is “faced today with an existential problem.” “If we don’t act today, we cease to exist in the future.” Wilders applauded Trump for frankly recognizing the global “fight between good and evil,” but the Dutchman insisted the evil isn’t confined to certain people within the community of Islam. Geert Wilders, head of the right-wing Dutch Freedom Party (PVV), launched a concept manifesto that calls for the "de-Islamization" of the Netherlands" as he leads in the polls to become the next prime minister. Wednesday March 15, the Dutch are kicking off a series of elections in Europe, in which the democratic nationists are expected to take their country back from the globalists.
Geert Wilders' Freedom Party grew by 33% and is now the second largest party in Dutch Parliament.
Following Donald Trump's monster victory in the US, Geert Wilders' Freedom Party was eXpected to carry the general elections in the Netherlands. For years the polls have been confirming that expectation. As it is, the Freedom Party grew by 33% to the 2nd largest party in the country. The governing coalition was decimated. Notable is the emergence of an Islamist party gaining 3 seats in Parliament, a covert offshoot of Erdogan's AK Party. Daniel Greenfield has the story from The Hague, explaining why the results were rigged to begin with. The establishment parties have vowed to disenfranchise those who voted for the Freedom Party. As PM Rutte said in various speeches, PVV is "the wrong sort of populism". But coalition negotiations are expected to hit the rocks sooner rather than later: almost every possible combination is leading to ethical collisions between liberals and Christian-Democrat parties.

We predicted globalist Dutch PM Mark Rutte would apologize to the Turkish regime soon after the election. We were wrong; he did it before the election. According to the Erdogan oriented Turkish newspaper Daily Sabah, Rutte has already apologized to the Turkish PM Binali Yildirim.
The best defense against shrieks about fake news is that the Turks have all the incentive to keep this nationalistic spat going so as to fire Turks up to vote for his power grabbing referendum on April 15.

WILDERS MAY EMERGE AS KINGMAKER YET
The media is spinning this as Prime Minister Rutte’s defeat of Geert Wilders, but the Labor half of the Second Rutte Cabinet just went up in flames. VVD lost quite a few seats, but remains the largest party only because so much of the overall vote had dissipated. Rutte will now have to awkwardly build an unstable coalition out of four parties just to avoid dealing with Wilders. It is quite possible though that Rutte will be trading the somewhat moderate Labor for GroenLinks which was formed out of, among others, the Communist Party of the Netherlands.
When the media cheers that the “moderates” have defeated that terrible extremist, Geert Wilders, what they aren’t mentioning is that the alternative “moderate” coalitions may include the daughter party of the Communist Party. The election was, in a sense, always rigged. The political system of the Netherlands fragments the vote and then puts it back together in government coalitions. The demonization of Wilders and the PVV was meant to ensure that even if his political party had won a majority, it would not have been allowed to form a government. And so Wilders won more by being in the second spot than by achieving the majority that some polls had predicted, while leaving the PVV unable to form a government.
Despite the attempts to kill it, smear it and destroy it, the Freedom Party continues to rise. And its enemies are being forced to respond to its ideas. The dangerous campaign by Turkey’s Islamist butcher, complete with threats and intimidation, helped Rutte salvage his government. But not his coalition. The centrist politics that made Rutte’s government possible are imploding. The decline of Rutte’s VVD and Labor is an unmistakable rejection of the status quo. The gains in this election flowed to parties further out on the spectrum on the right and the left. The traditionally moderate Dutch are losing their patience. The polarization is eliminating the center and replacing it with some hard choices. Geert Wilders and the PVV remain the embodiment of that choice. (More)

“During a phone call, Mr. Rutte has apologised for the detention of our consul general and chargé d’affaires,” he said. “Mr. Rutte said that the detentions were carried out by mistake,” he added. “He stated that the Dutch officials also did not desire to increase tensions to such an extent. He even offered to have a dinner together,” Yıldırım concluded.

Dutch Voters Head to the Polls as Populism Rises Across Europe
Dutch voters cast ballots Wednesday at polling booths across the nation in parliamentary elections that are being closely watched as a possible indicator of the strength of populism ahead of national votes in France and Germany later this year. Two-term Prime Minister Mark Rutte’s right-wing VVD party was leading in polls ahead of the Dutch vote, with the anti-Islam Party for Freedom of firebrand lawmaker Geert Wilders a close second. Wilders voted amid tight security and unprecedented media attention at a school in a modern neighborhood on the edge of The Hague early in the day. He expressed confidence that whatever the result of Wednesday’s election, the kind of populist politics he and others in Europe represent will be here to stay. “The genie will not go back into the bottle. People feel misrepresented,” he said, predicting this would show in elections later this year in France and Germany too. “Despite what the elite wants, politicians are getting strong who have a totally different concept of what the people want them to do,” he said.
