Since they never took the trouble to study what Islam actually is, multiculturalists will be shocked to learn that their protégés of the Islamic State have begun executing foreign ISIS volunteers, because they "just want to go home".

Islam apologists are ideologues and racists (by their own definition). Multiculturalism has taken the individualist concept of inherent equality at birth (tabula rasa), and projected it on to various collectives as cultures, religions or ideologies. This shows that this notion is not just demonstrably false, but that it's a corruption. From that perspective, Islam - or any faith that involves human sacrifice or cannibalism for that matter - is just as valid as any other faith. That implies a second corruption: that religion is by definition, good. This is eternal truth, according to postmodernists. Hence, it is not even necessary to study the details of religions and ideologies: they are equal and good and those who criticise are bigots, and evil racists.
They will be shocked, shocked (at least for a while, after which denial'll kick in) that like the mob, nobody gets to leave Islam! The Ummah is One Collective. The motto is omerta! and there's no out. Reports are trickling in that the Islamic State has started to execute foreign deserters who're suffering from spells of buyer's remorse. This news will cause some panic in the West, in the families of loved ones and in the multiculturalists who've never taken Islam seriously to begin with. But they have been forewarned by those evil racists, to no avail.
The Communists - like the Castros, the Guevara and their comrades - did exactly the same thing. The avant garde never takes the ideology seriously. They are absolutely scandalized and outraged when they find out that the ideology is actually what it said it was! The idealistic candy world of unicorns and fairies only existed in their minds.
Apparently the morale in the Islamic State has dropped to zero. Eighty percent of Kobane is back under YPG control, yesterday the sacred mountain of the Yazidis has been liberated by the Peshmerga. And rumor has it that the Christian city of Mosul is next on the target list. The humiliation, to have been defeated by non-believers, women and devil worshippers to boot, must be devastating.
