Uber liberal financial backer of all causes aiming to destroy Western civilization, George Soros has penned this absurd piece of narrative in the Guardian. It perfectly sets out the liberal course for the coming crucial year in the history of this existential struggle for the Western mind:
The jihadi terrorists’ ultimate goal is to convince Muslim youth worldwide that there is no alternative to terrorism. And terrorist attacks are the way to achieve that goal, because the fear of death will awaken and magnify the latent anti-Muslim sentiments in Europe and America, inducing the non-Muslim population to treat all Muslims as potential attackers.
In other words: the goal of terrorism is terrorism, because terrorism will show Muslims that to Westerners, inherently, all Muslims are terrorists: hating Muslims is inherent in Western DNA. This is not just dangerous fallacy, but it conveniently leads to the logic that defense against terrorism leads to more terrorism and this is all the fault of those who point to Islam as the source. The Left has now become so irrational, that they gladly sacrifice the defenders of Western civilization to its enemies. In other words, they are siding with those who want to destroy us. Mentally they are no longer a part of Western civilization. That implicit acknowledgement is a new low.
To appreciate what the liberal narrative is saying, we must understand that the official Islamic definition of terrorism is not the same as in the West. Traditionally, terrorism is violent means of the will against unarmed civilians, either by a state or by other civilians. But as Major Stephen Coughlin is pointing out in this video (source) in the Islamic approach, terrorism means the killing of Muslims without 'right' rooted in Islamic law.

We have found a second piece to this effect, in which Somalia's Islamist militant group al-Shabaab has released a video about "racial injustice in the United States featuring Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump". (Source) The Left apparently agrees with this, because it suits their political agenda.
The way has now been paved for the US Presidential election campaigns. Every terror attack launched by an Islamic group or individual 'lone wolf' can henceforth be blamed on political adversaries at home, i.e. the critics of Islam, those against open borders policies, the GOP and on any of the Republican candidates they see fit.
Hillary Clinton has already raised the point in a Democratic debate in which she asserted that Donald Trump featured in a recruiting video of the Islamic State. As is turned out, it was her own husband that was used in the propaganda film, not Trump. But it is time we not just correct the wrong actors, but the entire insidious fallacy on which it rests.

If man, as liberals hold, is determined, not by personal morality and free will, but by external factors in his social environment beyond his control, then man is a rudderless piece of flotsam on a wild ocean and entirely dependent on the caprices of fate. The Islamic equivalence to this world view can be summed up in the moniker, insha'allah (Allah willing). The Left and Islam are natural allies.

The purpose of propaganda, agitation and terrorism in this view, is key because it determines man's behavior. The libs honestly believe this themselves. After a quarter of a century this 'doctrine' has been handsomely repudiated by the facts of reality: by the mushrooming of terror groups like Al Qaeda and IS and terror attacks that are coming ever closer to home. Nevertheless, on that basis they are prepared to hold all their political opponents responsible for the mass murders and crimes committed by their Islamic allies! That is willfully irrational and evil.
The Left actually should know better. Marxist theory explained the purpose of terrorism. "Terror is the quickest way to new society", is attributed to Joseph Stalin. (Source) Muslims should also know better. Islamic doctrine explains the purpose of terrorism. In a recent lecture former CIA agent Clare Lopez clarified the purpose of the use of terror in Islam (source): it is to break the will of the enemy! It is warfare against unarmed civilians! Not "recruiting" or "propaganda".
The position that the Left is taking currently, in which they hold Western political opponents responsible for Islamic terrorism against the facts, is insidious beyond belief and a demonstration of evil intend.
