IRGC DECLARES "VICTORY" OVER IRAN PROTESTS

Thousands of Iranians have taken to the streets throughout the country to oppose the corrupt, brutal and terror-supporting regime in Tehran (interactive map). In 2009 Obama sat back as the regime slaughtered innocent protesters in order to protect his legacy: the "peace deal" with Iran. President Trump is focusing attention on the regime rather than "economic issues" as the Western media are maintaining. Trump is issuing daily warnings.

UPDATE: The Revolutionary Guard has declared "victory" over the protests. Former Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was arrested by authorities for allegedly inciting unrest against the government, the London-based daily Al-Quds Al-Arabi reported Saturday, citing “reliable sources in Tehran.” The newspaper said that Ahmadinejad, during a visit to the western city of Bushehr on December 28, said, “Some of the current leaders live detached from the problems and concerns of the people, and do not know anything about the reality of society.” (More)

IRAN PROTESTS DAY 9

The United States on Thursday imposed sanctions on five entities tied to Iran’s ballistic missile program, seeking to punish Tehran for its management of the economy as thousands of Iranians protest against their government, The Wall Street Journal reported. Treasury Department officials blamed Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and other parts of the government for funding proxies across the Middle East despite the needs of the Iranian people at home. IRAN PROTESTS DAY 8

The uprising of the Iranian people continues. Internet has slowed to a trickle. Football suopporters are chanting, "Shame on you" to the Iranian regime's authorities and other agents. (TweeT) The EU is keeping a close watch. Well, that's a relief! From the National Council for Resistance for Iran:
The Iranian Resistance asks today's UN Security Council to defend the legitimate and natural right of the Iranian people to overthrow the religious fascism ruling Iran and to achieve the freedom they have been uprising for, and to strongly condemn and hold accountable the mullahs’ regime for killing defenseless and unarmed demonstrators; measures that are a clear indication of a crime against humanity, and confronting them is the responsibility of the United Nations Security Council. IRAN PROTESTS DAY 7: NIKKI HALEY AMPLIFIES VOICES FROM IRAN

The regime has called on its supporters to hold counter protests. It's reminiscent of state sponsored protests in communist countries. Nikki Haley has called for an emergency session of the UNSC. The President has a plan: he's telling Iranians they're not alone. More voices from Europe are chiming in. But not all are supportive. The Dutch Foreign Minister simply refers to the tweet issued by EU Foreign Affairs official Mogherini who is deeply invested in the Mullah regime and a staunch supporter of "the peace deal".

This EU statement was issued on behalf of all member states.

RSBN Live Stream: Iran Anti-Government Protests Day 6, hosted by Steve @Lookner.

Finally a reaction from Europe, but it is not what one would hope for. The German Foreign Minister is taking the position of moral equivalence between the people and their oppressors, calling for the Mullahs to respect the freedom of assembly and speech, but forgetting the higher rights to life and liberty. His call for restraint from both sides is reminiscent of Orwell who said that "pacifism is objectively pro fascist". It is what one can expect from the corrupt EU.

Update: The Trump administration is calling on Iran’s government to stop blocking Instagram and other popular social media sites as Iranians are demonstrating in the streets. (...) Instagram, Telegram and other platforms are “legitimate avenues for communication” The US is encouraging Iranians to use virtual private networks, known as VPNs. Those services create encrypted links between computers and can be used to access blocked websites. (More)

⏩ Women are an inspiring factor and the Mullahs are well aware of it:

⏩ With 9 deaths overnight, the death toll now stands at 21. Arrests at 400.

⏩ One sees these reports before, but never as clear as this. If it is true that Revolutionary Guard is taking the side of the people, this revolt actually stands a chance of success. The RG deploying in Tehran makes plane that orders from the top brass should not to be confused with feelings and acts of individual guardsmen.

⏩  A nationwide strike has been called for today:
