OUTRAGE AND CONFUSION IN THE AWAN PLEA DEAL

Looking for leaks? Look no further than three Pakistani brothers Abid, Imran, and Jamal Awan, hired to maintain House computer servers and emails. One of the men had a criminal record. They were each paid over $160,000 salary to work for the Congress and a number of Democrats. The Awan family maintained a crime networ while having unauthorized access to Foreign Intelligence, Foreign Affairs and Intelligence Committee intel.

UPDATE: Outrage and confusion over the Awan trial in which the Department of Justice agreed not to prosecute Imran Awan for cyber theft and destruction of House IT equipment or improperly handling of Government information. But not everyone agrees that's all there's to it. If  they are right, we haven't even scratched the surface!

(VIDEO) IG REPORT: BIAS TAINTING RUSSIA PROBES

Following professional malpractice in the FBI and the Department of Justice in Hillary Clinton's emails investigation and Trump's presidential 2016 campaign, the department's Inspector General Michael Horowitz lodged a probe in which the FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe was fired and referred for criminal prosecution. On May 16 Horowitz announced the first draft report was done. The IG's long awaited report was finally released on Thursday (PDF).

UPDATE: Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz confirmed Tuesday that he is investigating whether FBI official Peter Strzok’s anti-Trump bias factored into the launch of the bureau’s Russia probe. During a joint hearing before the House Oversight and Judiciary committees, Horowitz testified that his office was reviewing Strzok’s anti-Trump text messages as part of a separate probe related to the Russia investigation. “It clearly shows a biased state of mind,” Horowitz said, referring to text messages written as the FBI probe of Hillary Clinton's private email use was wrapping up and the Russia probe was getting underway. The most infamous text, revealed in last week's IG report on the Clinton email case, showed Strzok responding "We'll stop it" when his colleague and lover Lisa Page sought assurances that Trump would not become president. SEEHOFER ULTIMATUM: MERKEL HAS 2 WEEKS!

2018 will be the year of people power. All over the Western world patriots are beginning to stand up for their rights and for national democracy against an establishment that has capitulated to alien and globalist interests. The British voting Brexit kicked off a spate of popular elections and referendums. The election of President Donald Trump is lending fire to the movement.

UPDATE: In order to stem the coalition crisis in Germany, Angela Merkel must hold an emergency session on June 28-19 in Brussels with Greece, Italy and Austria in order to solve the migrant crisis. Her nemeses, Interior Minister Horst Seehofer of the Bavarian coalition partner CSU has given Merkel two weeks to find a EU-wide solution to the migrant crisis before imposing borders controls in Germany. In the meantime the Russian roulette with people's lives continues. To the open borders crowd these victims are just collateral damage.

ON THE HUNT FOR THE ILLUSIVE TRUMP DOCTRINE

Liberal intellectuals have in vain been looking for a Trump doctrine. They are incapable to see what is right in front of their eyes. In November 2016 we launched our analysis, Planet Trump: 50 Paradigm Shifts (more). America First was a slam dunk. Less obvious perhaps is the President's Foreign Policy Doctrine for world peace. Over 500 days into the administration we can draw some conclusions.

No matter how careful they comb the 500 days' track record of the present administration, liberal intellectuals can't find a unifying Trump doctrine. Only recently Jeffrey Goldberg of The Atlantic managed to get the administration's motto out of a senior official: "We Are America, bitch" - in other words, America First (source). That's a lot faster than CNN's Jake Tapper's dim query only last weekend, enquiring "where's American exceptionalism in the age of Trump?" Thanks; we knew the answer to that question three years ago. For the careful observer the President's diplomatic out of the box recipe for world peace is discernable as well. Case in point: Saudi Arabia and North Korea.

Magna Carta: the Root of Liberty

The Magna Carta is at the root of every Declaration and Constitution that enshrines the freedom of the individual under de law

Daniel Hannan MEP speaks at The Freedom Association's Magna Carta Memorial on September 13 at Runnymede, UK.

The importance of the Magna Carta (1215) can't be underestimated: it is at the root of the American Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Human Rights and every other Declaration and Constitution that enshrines the freedom of the individual under de law. In essence it places the individual over the State, King and Government and offers guarantees against arbitrary, authoritarian rule. The Charter is the foundation of parliament.

(VIDEO) HUMOR IN THE ERA OF POSTMODERN HATE

Humor can be a formidable weapon: while it can destroy good values, it also has the power to diminish the effects of fear. The threat of a dictatorship's brutality is a specifically good candidate for ridicule. Humor also requires a firm sense of reality, which is the reason Postmodernists are such humorless creatures. Today cartoonist Scott Adams sheds another light on the aspects of jokes.

(VIDEO) TRUMP REIMBURSED COHEN FOR DANIELS PAYMENT

The FBI raided the offices, home and hotel rooms of President Trump's personal lawyer Michael Cohen. Speculation what provoked such an aggressive and unorthodox measure ranges from fake news to the utter trivial. We know it had nothing to with the Russia probe. Michael Cohen severed his connection with Trump over a year ago. It has nothing to do with Trump or even lawyer-client privilege.

May 4. 2018 Chris Wallace: "The documents indicated that, in fact, the President Trump had reimbursed Michael Cohen for the payment to Stormy Daniels."

UPDATE: Fox News' Chris Wallace just broke what's up with Rudy Giuliani bringing up the stunner that the President has reimbursed his lawyer for the Stormy Daniels payment. The evidence was scooped up in the raid and is bound to come out sooner or later. Tactically it is far better to control the message now, than having to do damage limitation when the truth is revealed. It was a controlled revelation. But, it is irrelevant to the case! As a former chairman of the FEC explained yesterday in Laura Ingraham's program (video), there is no question that this is a private expense. Campaign expenses are only deemed campaign expenses if they would not have been made privately. These would! Avenatti can be pound sand. And then there is the small matter of NBC's fake news. Exposing wire taps is illegal anyway.

RELEASE OF IG HOROWITZ REPORT AGAIN POSTPONED

The first IG Report on Hillary's emails keeps getting postponed. Should the release coincide with the run-up of President Trump's meeting in Singapore with Kim Jong-un, it's clear the deep state has a hand in that too. Sara Carter reporting:

The Department of Justice and the FBI are deliberately attempting to slow roll and redact significant portions of DOJ Inspector General, Michael Horowitz’s report on the bureau’s handling of the Hillary Clinton investigation, according to numerous congressional officials and investigators. The 400-page report, which was completed several weeks ago and addresses Clinton’s use of her private server for government business, is currently being reviewed by the DOJ and FBI. According to sources, individuals mentioned in the reports are also allowed to review the document. It is expected to be “long and thorough” and will criticize the handling of the investigation by former FBI Director James Comey, who has spent the better part of the past several months promoting his book A Higher Loyalty. (More)

Meanwhile a very, very fed up official in the DoJ just leaked that the IG investigation has deemed fired FBI Director Comey's conduct in the Hillary emails probe, "insubordinate", which it was. He usurped AG Loretta Lynch's role after her covert tarmac meeting with Bill Clinton.

IG HOROWITZ: CRIMINAL CHARGES AGAINST MCCABE

The Justice Department’s internal watchdog has sent a criminal referral for fired FBI official Andrew McCabe to the U.S. attorney’s office in Washington. The move follows a recent DOJ inspector general report that found McCabe leaked a self-serving story to the press and later lied about it to then-Director James Comey and federal investigators, prompting Attorney General Jeff Sessions to fire him on March 16. A source confirmed to Fox News that the referral was sent. The Washington Post reported earlier that the IG referred the finding that McCabe misled investigators "some time ago," asking the top federal prosecutor for D.C. to examine whether he should be charged. DOJ IG REPORT: MCCABE LIED FOR 'PERSONAL INTERESTS'

Andrew McCabe, the onetime acting director of the FBI, leaked a self-serving story to the press and later lied about it to his boss and federal investigators, prompting a stunning fall from grace that ended in his firing last month, according to a bombshell report released Friday by the Department of Justice's internal watchdog. Inspector General Michael Horowitz, appointed to the post by President Obama, had been reviewing the FBI and DOJ’s actions leading up to the 2016 election. The report, handed down to Congress Friday and obtained by Fox News, looked at a leak to The Wall Street Journal about the FBI's probe into the Clinton Foundation. The report says that McCabe misled investigators about leaks and did so in a way that did not fall under a "public interest" exemption. (More)

LEVIN: DNC LAWSUIT "A MASSIVE MISTAKE"

The Democratic National Committee filed a multimillion-dollar lawsuit  in federal district court in Manhattan against the Russian Govt, the Trump campaign and WikiLeaks alleging a intricate conspiracy to sabotage the Hillary campaign and help Trump by hacking the computer networks of the Democratic Party and disseminating the stolen material (the verity of which no one has disputed) through Wikileaks.

The DNC refused to hand over the hacked server to the FBI. Instead the investigation was turned over to a private company with Google ties, Crowdstrike.

President Donald Trump reacted to the news that the Democrats had decided to sue his presidential campaign for an illegal conspiracy with the Russians to win the 2016 election. “Just heard the Campaign was sued by the Obstructionist Democrats,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “This can be good news in that we will now counter[sue] for the DNC Server that they refused to give to the FBI.” Despite the DNC claim that their emails were hacked by the Russians, they never turned over their server to the FBI for investigation. (...) Trump added that he would like to sue for former DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s server and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s emails. The lawsuit does not name the president, but rather his son Donald Trump Jr. and his son-in-law Jared Kushner. It also names his former campaign chairman Paul Manafort and Manafort’s deputy, Rick Gates as well as George Papadopoulos and Roger Stone. (More)
