UPDATE: Captured by the Kurdish People’s Protection Unit (YPG) fighters in Northern Syria in November, Abdurrahman Abdulhadi, a Syrian national-turned Daesh (Islamic State) fighter, says he was trained in Turkey before receiving his first assignment with Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL). The YPG maintains external security in the three Democratic Union Party (PYD) run areas, and is fighting Islamist groups, primarily Jabhat al-Nusra and IS. The PYD, an offshoot of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in Turkey, has effectively been ruling parts of Syria after government troops were forced to withdraw from the areas in 2012. With special permission from the local Kurdish authorities, Russian journalists received first-hand testimony that Turkey is “a friend” of Islamic State. (Source)

EU PLAN: PARAMILITARY TO CONTROL NAT'L BORDERS

For a long time EU Armed Forces have been a federalist wet dream. But to what purpose? NATO is the Western alliance's defense mechanism. The EU is exploiting the refugee crisis it helped create by pushing draconian plans for an occupying army that would have the power to take control of national borders without the consent of sovereign governments.

After rolling out the red carpet for potentially millions of migrants – most of whom are not Syrian – to enter Europe in search of welfare havens like Sweden and Germany – the EU has proven its total incompetence when it comes to dealing with border security. However, instead of handing more power to national governments to address the crisis, the EU is set to eviscerate the sovereignty of member states further under a new proposal which would permit the deployment of up to 2,500 armed guards wearing EU uniforms, along with naval patrol vessels, helicopters and drones.

“The EU’s first paramilitary force would have the power to take control of a nation’s borders without the consent of sovereign governments,” reports the Times. According to Dimitris Avramopoulos, European Commissioner for migration, the idea represents “more Europe”. The new agency would, “be able to step in to ensure action is taken on the ground even where … that member state considers there is no need for additional intervention,” according to a draft proposal.

Polish Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski slammed the idea, labeling it “incompatible with democracy”. “For it to be a structure independent from nation states is astounding … an undemocratic structure reporting to no one knows who,” said Waszczykowski.

“Every single time a European Union policy fails….the demand is more centralization and more Europe, said UKIP leader Nigel Farage in response to the plan. Diane James, MEP and UKIP Justice and Home Affairs spokesperson commented, “This is a full frontal attack on national sovereignty from the EU.

All pretence has now been discarded and the Commission will now openly act against a member state’s wishes and operate within its borders without permission. By acting contrary to the wishes of national parliaments the EU has displayed its desire for a federal state for all to see.”

The International Business Times reports that the plan “could lead to armed EU guards effectively “occupying” parts of member states’ territory” and the EU having a “right to intervene” even when a nation state explicitly tells it not to.

The new border force will be based in Warsaw, Poland and EU member states will have to contribute to the €322 million a year needed to fund it. The new force will also, “be able to carry out surveillance operations alongside the European Fisheries Control Agency and European Maritime Safety Agency and can even be deployed to countries outside the EU.”

As Leo McKinstry highlights, the new proposal is in line with a quote that is seen at the entrance to the Visitors’ Centre of the European Parliament which reads, “National sovereignty is the root cause of the most crying evils of our times,” leading “to tragic disaster and barbarism.” The person who said those words was none other than British diplomat Lord Lothian, a passionate advocate of appeasing Nazi Germany right up until the mid-1940’s.

TERROR ALERT: SWEDES GET LETTER, CONVERT OR DIE!

ISIS has sent letters to Swedish civilians ordering them to convert to Islam within three days or face being decapitated in their own homes. Sharia law is affording infidels 'of the book' (Jews and Christians) the choice to convert to Islam, pay the jizya protection tax, or die.

The letter, posted on Facebook, features the flag of ISIS.

Bloodthirsty IS Jihadists posted notes through the doors of dozens of random neighbours in several cities across Sweden, including the capital Stockholm, threatening to murder "non-believers" in a terrifying campaign of violence. Sweden is now on lockdown after the chilling letters pledged to behead innocent civilians and then "bomb your rotting corpses afterwards". Intelligence officials confirmed they are investigating the horrifying threats - which were signed by "ISIS" - as a state of fear gripped the nation. The notes, written in Swedish, order people to convert to Islam or pay a religious tax, known as the jizya, warning that the police "will not save you from being murdered".

Denise Slader, who police say insulted a group of Muslim men praying in a California park on Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015, when she allegedly also threw coffee and used an umbrella to strike one of them.

The group said they gather weekly for volleyball and prayer at Lake Chabot Regional Park, near San Francisco. On Sunday, a woman, identified as Denise Slader, encountered the men around 3 p.m. and began insulting the Islamic faith and accusing the group of being terrorists. Slader is an employee of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, according to parks spokesperson Carolyn Jones. Rasheed Albeshari recorded Slader and posted the video to Facebook. (Source)

UPDATE: The religious Right is furious with the New York Daily News for this heading, but the paper is exactly right! If it was an assault on prayer, the heading would have been different. What the heading says is, you can pray all you want, but we must help ourselves here! The problem is mental, certainly moral. An individual is responsible for the content of his own mind. God helps those, who help themselves. Americans specifically know this. Two things need to happen before we can turn the road: the Left have to face reality and accept that once again their ideology has failed. They must reject intellectual dishonesty and irrational actions of the will. Muslims must reject the violent content of their religion. A radical Muslim explained recently that Jihad is "the fight against evil in this world". In other words, Muslims must realize that what they consider evil, must be fought with reason and persuasion, not violence. It can be done. Maybe within the next century or so.

UPDATE:  Tweets by @mod_russia relaying declaration by Russian defense officials on Dec. 2. The coalition must have been well aware of this and covered it up. There has been little or so coverage of these statements in the media.

Turkey shot down a Russian SU-24 after it violated its airspace, upon which Syrian rebel Turkmen downed a rescue helicopter and killed a pilot. UPDATE: Even under normal conditions politicians and diplomats will say anything that suits them. But to postmodernists words simply have no fixed meaning. That means we must see what they do. Not what they say. Russia is seriously bombing the hell out of an IS/Turkish oil tanker convoy. France hits 4 terrorist targets after it gets "really angry" when 130 of its citizens are slaughtered. The Brits primary concern is whether bombing thugs is "legal". And Obama is so afraid that hitting terrorists breeds more terrorists, he nixes seventy five percent off the target list, avoids hitting the oil industry out of environmental concerns and when he hits a convoy, he's dropping leaflets so no one gets hurt. In the meantime the borders are wide open to Muslim 'refugees', among them war criminals and terrorists. Now what does that tell us? What explanation is consistent with these facts? Why did the Russians destroy the IS oil convoy where others hesitated?

The only moral stance our leaders can muster, is that we must sacrifice more to hundreds of thousands of Syrian Muslim migrants. Some are openly reasoning from the logic that if only we tried harder, the Islamo Fascists wouldn't be attacking us. Attending the G20 Obama was making European politicians look like super heroes! In a presser Obama pointed out that "ISIL is very, very social media savvy...". Ah, yes, that would explain why they can attack us at will. It is clear that this war is far from over. It is actually only just beginning. But it won't happen until the West understands that, in order to win it,  it has to break the back of Islamo Fascism. It is therefore becoming more than urgent to set the record straight over a policy that has been failing us since the Iranian Revolution of 1979. For the third time a eurozone country has effectively suspended the rule of law and democratic principles. After Greece and Italy it's now Portugal's turn to follow suit. Portugal’s President has refused to appoint a Left-wing coalition government even though it secured an absolute majority in the Portuguese parliament and won a mandate.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Saudi Arabia’s defense minister have agreed that Moscow and Riyadh should pursue common goals in Syria, including national reconciliation and combating terrorists, Russian FM Sergey Lavrov said. “First of all, they are to prevent a terrorist caliphate from getting the upper hand in Syria.” The second goal that we share with Riyadh is “ensuring the triumph of national reconciliation in Syria so that all Syrians, regardless of their nationality or religion, will feel masters of their land,” he said. 

In the meantime a new opposition coalition has been forged. Its goal is not to fight ISIS (there's another coalition to do that), but to combat the Assad-Russia-Iran axis.

Two Femen protesters stormed the stage at an Islamic conference in France yesterday. Disguised in black burkas the women made their way to the stage where they took down their tops showing their naked bodies. They were soon taken into custody by the police.

Dutch Comedian: "Free Speech Has Been Lost"

US comedian Bill Maher and Dutch standup Hans Teeuwen are some of the few Western artists left to defend free speech. They understand that the right to criticize ideas is central to the values of the Enlightenment. A right is the inherent freedom to act. There is no right not to be offended.

Teeuwen is admitting that since Theo van Gogh was slaughtered by a Muslim Jihadist, he is exercising self restraint. Even before then Salman Rushdie had to go into hiding. It's not a new phenomenon. But the feeling has grown over the years. "An artist poring pig's blood over a Koran has a huge problem". Teeuwen thinks it is important to point this out. "There are those who are trying to diminish the importance of free speech. That's even worse. That means that terrorism has an influence over how we think". He says that the risk of "accidents" has become too great. In your face jokes of the past are no longer possible today. We have to recognize that free speech has been lost. It's become really difficult to create a song or a sketch that isn't offensive to Muslims. There are none on his new CD.

Step 3: Imply that the problem is the gap between the two, not the hardship itself. (Bonus points if you can suggest that the one group’s success is the cause of the other group’s hardship.) 

Step 4: Advocate closing the gap by bringing down the high fliers. 

Whenever you see this sort of argument, you can be sure that the goal of the speaker is not to end the hardship, but to smash the successful. An analogy might help. Imagine two people are thrown into a lake: a kid who can’t swim and Michael Phelps. What would you make of someone who said, “There is something profoundly wrong when we’ve seen a child drown while an Olympic gold medalist easily swims to the shore”? Take Phelps out of the picture, and the kid is still drowning. The only reason to mention Phelps is if your goal is not to help the kid, but to smear the athlete. So it is for the inequality alarmists. They don’t want to guide everyone to dry land. They want to drown the best swimmers. (source)

UPDATE: Let's remind ourselves of the state of mind of Western leaders just a few years ago, a.k.a. the Arab Spring. With that foreign policy went a doctrine that supported the Muslim Brotherhood as the "democratic, secular and peaceful" alternative to radicals like Al Qaeda. The result are the failed states of Libya and Syria and the most genocidal, evil terror group since Genghis Khan: the Islamic State. But that's no problem, because according to postmodern philosophy morality is group subjective. According to multiculturalism every culture is equally valid, therefore the Caliphate has a right to its own state. It's the biggest foreign policy blunder since the Second World War. We now know Obama knowingly armed Syrian rebels against Assad (from Libyan weapons caches in Benghazi), who later turned on Iraq, the Kurds and basically anyone who isn't a Sunni Wahhabi. Obama is justifying this by the notion that it is possible to separate radicals from moderates. But moderates consist of various factions close to the Muslim Brotherhood. Banksy's Dismaland Hate Fest Against Humanity

Banksy’s new show, Dismaland, which opened on Thursday on the Weston-super-Mare seafront is described as a "family theme park unsuitable for small children", and with the Grim Reaper whooping it up on the dodgems and Cinderella horribly mangled in a pumpkin carriage crash, it is easy to see why.

Most people get there is something particular nasty and destructive about the Banksy attack on theme parks. But the philosophical root is deeply buried in our culture. Superfically activists with a bee in their cap against "plastic and artificiality" seem to have a point. But on examination the contrary is true. Fantasy, styling and exaggeration of cuteness and beauty are not about fake, but about stressing values. It is artistic testimony that man can be anything he wishes to be if he has the integrity to stay true to his values. Heroes are such figures, that defend virtues against all odds. (Why We Need Heroes) Therefore the nasty attacks by Nihilists such as Banksy are no surprise at all. They hate free will, reason, liberty and everything that comes with it. They want to see man as a slave to other man and will not rest until they cut the arms and the legs of every man that holds anything of value. Nihilists rather see everyone equally stripped to the bone, than to accept the "unfairness" of moral choices. A quote from a great piece by Brendan O'Neill says it brilliantly:
