As the campaign for the human rights of the political prisoners gained steam, the Justice Dept. indicted a number of Trump advisors for Contempt of Congress for refusing to appear before the House Select Committee. Three Trump advisors are claiming presidential privilege. Minority Leader McCarthy and Rep. Jim Jordan are refusing to cooperate.

UPDATE: The Inspector General for the Capitol Police opened a formal investigation into serious claims that Republican members of Congress were and are unlawfully surveilled by Capitol Police, potentially at the direction of Nancy Pelosi. Politico: "After the Jan. 6 insurrection, the Capitol Police Intelligence Unit quietly started scrutinizing the backgrounds of people who meet with lawmakers." Even Republican staffers were allegedly targeted with surveillance. Rep Nehls is accusing Capitol Police of spying on him. In his Feb. 8 show Tucker Carlson revealed that Rep. Loui Gohmert's mail is being tempered with.
