(VIDEO) IG REPORT: BIAS TAINTING RUSSIA PROBES

Following professional malpractice in the FBI and the Department of Justice in Hillary Clinton's emails investigation and Trump's presidential 2016 campaign, the department's Inspector General Michael Horowitz lodged a probe in which the FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe was fired and referred for criminal prosecution. On May 16 Horowitz announced the first draft report was done. The IG's long awaited report was finally released on Thursday (PDF).

UPDATE: Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz confirmed Tuesday that he is investigating whether FBI official Peter Strzok’s anti-Trump bias factored into the launch of the bureau’s Russia probe. During a joint hearing before the House Oversight and Judiciary committees, Horowitz testified that his office was reviewing Strzok’s anti-Trump text messages as part of a separate probe related to the Russia investigation. “It clearly shows a biased state of mind,” Horowitz said, referring to text messages written as the FBI probe of Hillary Clinton's private email use was wrapping up and the Russia probe was getting underway. The most infamous text, revealed in last week's IG report on the Clinton email case, showed Strzok responding "We'll stop it" when his colleague and lover Lisa Page sought assurances that Trump would not become president. SEEHOFER ULTIMATUM: MERKEL HAS 2 WEEKS!

2018 will be the year of people power. All over the Western world patriots are beginning to stand up for their rights and for national democracy against an establishment that has capitulated to alien and globalist interests. The British voting Brexit kicked off a spate of popular elections and referendums. The election of President Donald Trump is lending fire to the movement.

UPDATE: In order to stem the coalition crisis in Germany, Angela Merkel must hold an emergency session on June 28-19 in Brussels with Greece, Italy and Austria in order to solve the migrant crisis. Her nemeses, Interior Minister Horst Seehofer of the Bavarian coalition partner CSU has given Merkel two weeks to find a EU-wide solution to the migrant crisis before imposing borders controls in Germany. In the meantime the Russian roulette with people's lives continues. To the open borders crowd these victims are just collateral damage.

ON THE HUNT FOR THE ILLUSIVE TRUMP DOCTRINE

Liberal intellectuals have in vain been looking for a Trump doctrine. They are incapable to see what is right in front of their eyes. In November 2016 we launched our analysis, Planet Trump: 50 Paradigm Shifts (more). America First was a slam dunk. Less obvious perhaps is the President's Foreign Policy Doctrine for world peace. Over 500 days into the administration we can draw some conclusions.

No matter how careful they comb the 500 days' track record of the present administration, liberal intellectuals can't find a unifying Trump doctrine. Only recently Jeffrey Goldberg of The Atlantic managed to get the administration's motto out of a senior official: "We Are America, bitch" - in other words, America First (source). That's a lot faster than CNN's Jake Tapper's dim query only last weekend, enquiring "where's American exceptionalism in the age of Trump?" Thanks; we knew the answer to that question three years ago. For the careful observer the President's diplomatic out of the box recipe for world peace is discernable as well. Case in point: Saudi Arabia and North Korea.

Magna Carta: the Root of Liberty

The Magna Carta is at the root of every Declaration and Constitution that enshrines the freedom of the individual under de law

Daniel Hannan MEP speaks at The Freedom Association's Magna Carta Memorial on September 13 at Runnymede, UK.

The importance of the Magna Carta (1215) can't be underestimated: it is at the root of the American Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Human Rights and every other Declaration and Constitution that enshrines the freedom of the individual under de law. In essence it places the individual over the State, King and Government and offers guarantees against arbitrary, authoritarian rule. The Charter is the foundation of parliament.
