The Democrats are in rebellion against him in a big way, even if they say this is a vote for the families of the 911 victims rather than a vote against Obama. He's a lame duck. This is also a historic vote for another reason: it clearly marks the new reality that the US is no longer prepared to cover for the Saudis no matter what.
