JUST WAR THEORY: CATHOLICISM AND SELF DEFENSE

For the last century or so most wars waged by the West are fought under the Geneva Conventions, rooted in Just War Theory of Neo Platonist Church Father St. Augustine, who was rather big on original sin, self sacrifice and guilt culture. The theory tightly describes a number of conditions that justify going to war. But in practice this international law functions as a handicap to those sent into it to actually fight it, the soldiers.

MARCH FOR LIFE: HALF A MILLION KICKING OFF 2022 RALLY

The March for Life is an annual rally and march protesting both the practice and legality of abortion, held in Washington, D.C. on or around the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, a decision issued in 1973 by the United States Supreme Court legalizing abortion nationwide. This year the Justices are expected to reconsider their 1973 decision kicking abortion legislation back to the States.

Over half a million protesters are kicking off the 2022 March for Life from the National Mall to Capitol Hill. The march's stated mission is to end abortion by uniting, educating, and mobilizing pro-life people in the public square. The March is organized by the March for Life Education and Defense Fund.

The cessation of Catalonia from Spain poses the all important question if independence on cultural, religious or ethnic basis is justified? And how is the mother country to deal with the rebellion? UPDATE: Remember Catalonia's still born bid for independence back in 2017? Now there is a twist to this story! Former police chief José Manuel Villarejo has admitted that the CNI (the Spanish intelligence service) was behind the terror attack on the Ramblas in Barcelona in August of 2017 in order to deter Catalonians from voting for independence a month before the referendum. Sixteen people died in the attack.
