After the escalation of terror by IS and the attacks in the heart of Europe, momentum is growing to break new ground in reforming Islam. Muslims, their Leftist appeasers and enablers, and even most critics are part of the problem. Nevertheless, there are some bright, shining lights in unexpected places.

My name is Bosch and I’m a recovered Muslim. That is, if Muslims don’t kill me for leaving Islam, which it requires them to do. That’s just one of the reasons I’ve been writing and drawing against Islam and its Jihad for a number of years now. But fortunately for us, Islam hasn’t been able to make every Muslim its slave, just as Nazism wasn’t able to turn every German into a Nazi. So there is Islam and there are Muslims. Muslims who take Islam seriously are at war with us and Muslims who don’t aren’t.

THE MESSAGE FROM MOHAMMED

The earliest legends about Mohammed and his band of followers in Mecca has colored the relationship of Muslims with the rest of the world. The rejection by the Meccans and the holy revenge of the Mohammedans is re-enacted every day on a world scale. 

"The Message" Movie Trailer 1976 - Story of Islam.

The movie "The Message" (IMDb) is a 3 hour melodrama in which the appearance of actor Anthony Quinn is the sole mitigating circumstance. Nevertheless, the movie is required viewing for students of Islam. The film was conceived prior to the present Islamic revival. In other words, the film does not contain any of the politically correct revisionism that one might expect in a pro Islam movie today. In the movie the actors depicting Mohammed and his followers have the polished heroism that was typical of Hollywood at the time. Still, this authorized propaganda movie meant for a Western audience is not an unabashed puff piece. It gives us a fairly balanced view of the earliest beginnings of Islam. 

QUEST FOR MODERN ISLAM: JORDAN PETERSON AND MUSTAFA AKYOL ON ISLAM, CHRIST AND LIBERTY

Islam apologists have long pointed to a moderate Islam. The fiercest critics of Islam are holding on the other hand that Islam is Islam. But if Jews and Christians can reform, so can Muslims. Indeed you can't change an ideology, but you can change the mindset of the people and the culture. Key is the long and hard process of individualization and dropping the totalitarian aspects that have long bedeviled Mohammedanism.

A group of British Muslims is resisting the atrocities and bloodthirst of the Islamic State. Great! But it comes with a few hard conditions. A hashtag just isn't enough for fundamental change from within.

CRITIQUE: SOCIALISTS AND DEFENSE OF ISLAM

Postmodern, liberal apologists of Islam in the name of democracy, equality and the freedom of religion only serve radicals.  In doing so they are leaving 'moderate' (secular, liberal) Muslims in the lurch. OIC accuses Prague of "Islamophobia"

About 600 people rallied against Islam in Prague on Friday Jan. 16. In a counter demo about 20 people demonstrated for the rights of Muslims and other religious groups.

UPDATE: Following last week's demo in Prague against Islamization, the nefarious OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation) has sprung into action, issuing a joint statement to accuse the country in effect of "racism". The OIC is the driving force behind the legal adoption of blasphemy and the non-concept, Islamophobia. Read it all!

A group of 20 Muslim countries with embassies in the Czech capital Prague have accused the Central European country of rising Islamophobia, according to a joint statement sent to journalists on Monday. The so-called Prague group of countries, member-states of the world's biggest Muslim organization, the 57-nation Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), said they were "concerned that Islam has been increasingly mixed up with terrorism" and pointed to a spike in "Islamophobia" in the post-Charlie Czech Republic. Angola: Islam Doesn't Qualify as a Recognized Religion

Angola has decided to ban Islam and ordered the destruction of mosques in an effort to prevent what happened to non-Muslims in other parts of the world, especially in Africa

This video from September 14, 2013 surfaced with the following text translated from Portuguese: Warning - The destruction of nine mosques, should be stopped immediately and we demand the apologize from President Angola to Muslims worldwide. If not, then we would like to invite the Muslim community to hold peaceful demonstrations in front of the buildings of Angolan embassies worldwide. H/t @JacquelineWxxx blog

UPDATE: The Guardian appears to have solved the conundrum of the Angolan 'ban of Islam' while at the same time managed put it into the service of Jihad. Under Angolan law, to receive legal recognition, a religious organization needs 100,000 members, whereas Muslim Angolans number 90,000 (out of about 18 million). Atlas Shrugs has more:

The Guardian newspaper, in its unending service to the jihad, has successfully ginned up the Muslims in the UK to protest against the tiny nation of Angola for a news story that the Guardian more than manufactured ("Angola bans Islam!"). 

What actually happened is that the Angolan justice ministry last month “rejected the applications of 194 organisations, including one from the Islamic community.” But the protesters do not appear to want religious freedom either, but called for a ban on democracy and the establishment of a Islamic Khilafah (caliphate) in Angola, establishing Sharia law. 'Islam', stated one of the posters some held, 'Will Dominate the World'. 

Not content to destroy just Great Britain, the Guardian wants the rest of the world to suffer Britain's grave fate. It seems to me that the Guardian is "not conducive to the public good" -- perhaps the British government should silence the Guardian. Did they not ban Robert Spencer and me for this very reason? Fighting an Existential War With Demoralized Leaders

"Islam has nothing to do with terrorism, Jihad or the Islamic State", "no religion condones terrorism"... we know the politically correct libations to the gods of multiculturalism all too well. But what is really behind this obvious nonsense?

The Islamic State has produced a 20 minute film, including an English translation. It's a must see for every student as it may lead to specific insights that can easily be missed watching events from the same Western conceptual framework. For those who are prepared to see it, interviews with American military brass touch the essence of the problem. In any war, but especially one which is existential, the equation couldn't be worse. A lack of weapons would have been preferable to demoralized leadership. 

FIGHTING TERRORISM OR APPEASING ISLAM?

"This is war", declared the French President Francois Hollande yesterday, after the attacks on Paris in which over 120 people were killed and many more were wounded. The awareness that this is in fact a war, is a new one and a step forward. But how could the West make such a basic mistake?

Despite the fact that Obama had just declared that Islamic State has finally been contained (source), the terror group managed to kill 224 people in a Russian airliner over Sinai, 41 in the Beirut bombings, and well over 120  in Paris, and counting. It is clear that this war is far from over. It is actually only just beginning. But it won't happen until the West understands that, in order to win it,  it has to break the back of Islamo Fascism. It is therefore becoming more than urgent to set the record straight over a policy that has been failing us since the Iranian Revolution of 1979. The West, and primarily the US, must first make some very, very hard choices. We can either fight terrorism, or we can appease Muslim countries. We can't do both.

Sexual Jihad: Rape Is Not An Islamic Concept

Historically practiced in Pakistan and India against infidels, Muslim men are using abductions, forced marriages, forced conversions and prostitution for the purpose of Islamic dominance. UPDATE: With predominantly male refugees from war torn Islamic countries flooding the Western world, rape as a social phenomenon is back in the spotlight. 

• There is the rape of Sweden (and Denmark and the UK in particular) and the cover up by the media, the local authorities and the asylum industry to prevent the public from making an honest assessment of the guests in their midst. Islam At the Crossroads: War or Peace?

Islam stands at a crossroads. The Islamic State presents Muslims with an opportunity to put Islam on a peaceful footing, denounce Jihad, establishing the long awaited Reformation. The trend however is going the other way. Silent consent. They have no choice.

Along with his direct outreach to Muslims, Francis has also visited five places with a majority Muslim population, Allen observes, while paradoxically he has yet to make a single state visit to anywhere in Western Europe, “the traditional cradle of Christendom.” So far, he has visited Jordan, the “State of Palestine,” Turkey, Albania and Sarajevo.
