Libertarians have warned again and again that rights and liberties once lost, are not going to be regained easily. The powerful never cede power voluntarily. It’s not in their nature. If we are honest, we know that Mao was right in one thing: political power comes from the barrel of a gun.
So unless our basic relationship with secular authorities can somehow be restored per Benjamin Franklin — i.e. power rests with the people, and Governments are their servants — Western free societies have turned into top down, authoritarian semi dictatorships in a matter of two years.
As an alternative economic and monetary power block is forming in Eurasia changing geopolitics forever, history is changing before our eyes. But from an individual and societal point of view the Covid-19 psychosis was even more fundamental.

The Great Reset is on everyone’s mind, whether everyone knows it or not. It is presaged by the measures undertaken by states across the world in response to the covid-19 crisis. (I mean by “crisis” not the so-called pandemic itself, but the responses to a novel virus called SARS.
